Chris, I was looking for a link between Nickel Creek and Starsailor because of the video styles (see This Side vs Poor Misguided Fool), and found your blog.

When I saw MAS, Keane, Coldplay, Badly Drawn Boy and Travis on your list, it makes sense to me.

I'll check out some other 'new' selections I've not come across before on iTunes.

Thanks

Don't Make Me Not Like You

Man, I can't believe I haven't posted about this one yet. I know I'm talking in superlatives all the time on this site, this one is truly on a different level. A true songwriter who is being called our generation's Bob Dylan by many, his music nudges towards the alt.country genre, but I also hear a tinge of Brit in his music a la Belle and Sebastian... with some good ol' rock thrown in small bits. And if the song "Something Pretty" doesn't take your breath away, I don't like you. Enjoy!

Sorry for the Delay...

Ok... I'm getting bad about keeping this blog updated, so I'm going to minimize the typing and maximize the music I am sharing. I am definitely still finding all kinds of new stuff on Rhapsody as I listen to it daily, so I'm just going to hit the blog with quick posts of the new stuff. This one is a UK band with the requisite falsettist... but I'd say there sound is definitely more swirling and spacey... and he nearly sings more comfortably in his crystal clear falsetto than he does in his normal range... Enjoy!
